Filming for season 2 of Marvel and Netflix's The Punisher is currently underway, and some nice, clear images from the set have emerged over on Facebook.
The photos show a typically bruised 'n battered Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) walking the streets with Amy Bendix, who'll be played by Scream actress Giorgia Whigham. In the comics, Bendix is a mentally challenged girl who nurses Castle back to health. When her father discovers this he imprisons the ultra-violent vigilante, and all hell breaks loose from there.
Bendix's involvement has led to speculation that season 2 will adapt The Slavers storyline, but that remains to be seen. At any rate, the character has been re-imagined as "a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past" for the show.
