Archie Comics will soon launch a third ongoing Sonic series in the form of Sonic Boom. It will be written by Ian Flynn, a scribe familiar to video game adaptations. Evan Stanley, Rick Bryant, Jack Morelli, and Matt Herms will handle artistic duties. The comic book will hit shelves October 29, with an animated series and video game of the same name following shortly thereafter (the series wil premiere on Cartoon Network November 8 and the video game will launch November 11 on Nintendo WiiU and 3DS consoles).
