The Metal Gear Saga is about to come to an end this year, with the departure of Hideo Kojima and the story of Big Boss ending, it would seem there is nowhere else to go in his story. There will still of course be spinoff titles such as Metal Gear Rising 2, but for now it would seem that the story of the Snakes will be coming to an end this September. With the game coming out in 3 months, Hideo Kojima has directed a final trailer for the game, which will also be his final Metal Gear trailer ever. The trailer was just broadcast live and is now released online to be viewed in full HD. Check out the trailer below and be sure to stay until the end!

In the aftermath of the events of Ground Zeroes and the destruction of Militaires Sans Frontières (commonly abbreviated as MSF), Big Boss falls into a coma. Nine years later, he awakes and helps lead a new mercenary group, the Diamond Dogs. Adopting the codename "Venom Snake", he ventures into Afghanistan during the Soviet war to track down the men responsible for MSF's destruction. Along the way, he becomes reacquainted with his former rival Ocelot and encounters a unit of warriors robbed of their past, present and future. While he and Kazuhira "Kaz" Miller are initially driven to exact revenge, Snake soon unearths a plot by the Cipher organization to develop a weapon with the potential to surpass even the Metal Gear system.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is Released on September 1st, 2015.

It's just sad to see how Konami has treated Kojima and because of that this will be the last game by him. I hope will do well in sales and be a great send off to him.

With it being E3 I'm surprised not many people have been posting the new game videos. Comic book fans also are fans of video games, or am I wrong?

@ManCalledSting "I don't understand why the ones that don't focus on Solid Snake, are still call MG Solid."

The Solid in Metal Gear Solid comes from the series transition to 3D graphics with MGS1, not Solid Snake
