Brit hottie Kate Beckinsale (Underworld: Evolution) reportedly is in talks to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming big screen movie.

Beckinsale recently talked with filmmaker Joss Whedon who is "very happy" with her, according to Joblo.com.


Other actresses that have been linked to the role originally played on TV by Lynda Carter are Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charisma Carpenter.

The film is expected to start shooting in September.
