Sly Stallone Not Editing BULLET TO THE HEAD, Says Warner Bros.

Despite previous reports that the actor was editing a cut of his upcoming action film Bullet To The Head (based on a French graphic novel), the studio has denied that Stallone is involved with cutting the movie.

Recently, a report came that Sylvester Stallone was taking over the editing of Bullet To The Head, an action film based on the French graphic novel of the same name. Stallone editing the film would explain its being removed from an April release. But now, IGN is reporting a statement (apparently) from Warner Bros., who deny the aforementioned reports of Stallone editing the film. The studio goes on to confirm that director Walter Hill is still editing the movie.

"Contrary to recent inaccurate and unfounded reports that Sylvester Stallone had taken over the editing of Bullet To The Head, director Walter Hill continues his editing of the movie. Walter Hill said today, 'I'm currently finishing up and locking reels on the movie -- as to the content and style of the film, Sly and I are in perfect sync. I'm delighted with the way the film is turning out and hopefully so will the audience.'

Hill recently wrapped production on the action thriller starring Sylvester Stallone, which will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures."

Based on the graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete, Bullet To The Head tells the story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a New York City cop who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners. The film also stars Sung Kang, Jason Momoa and Christian Slater; its new release date is currently unknown.
