Avengers Assemble is set to be released on April 26th in the UK, and tickets are now on sale at Cineworld, Odeon and Vue Cinemas. The first two chains are offering fans the chance to see the film even sooner and click on either of the images or links below to find out how enter. It currently appears as if there will be no midnight screenings on the night of the 25th, although that has yet to be confirmed. The first reviews from British critics for the superhero ensemble are expected to hit on the 20th, with press screenings taking place over the next couple of weeks. Meh. I pre-ordered my tickets back in January. Got em in an email about a week ago, the theater I'm going to said the midnight IMAX 3D showing was sold out at my location! So happy I got in! Cause I'm a true comic book fan!
What was that, that Aunt May said in Spider-Man 2, oh that's right she said, "He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero—courageous, self-sacrificing people setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them…cheer them...scream their names. And years later, they’ll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them to hold on a second longer. I believe there’s a hero in all of us…that keeps us honest…gives us strength…makes us noble…and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most – even our dreams. Spider-Man did that for Henry and he wonders where he’s gone. He needs him."

It may sound stupid, but The Avengers, just the movie alone, along with The Amazing Spider-Man in July, will have that effect on me, and tons of little kids (Cause even though I may be just shy of 20, I, most of the time, better socialize with little kids more so than women my age).

The morning of May 4th, 12:01am, I AM THERE, IN MY CAP COSTUME, CAP 3D GLASSES, AND EVERYTHING IN IT'S MARVELOUS GLORY!!!!!!

not sure if its the same for manchester (im assuming your talking about the printworks) but i heard that it wasnt been shown at the london bfi imax as it was only being sent out as digital 3d imax files, not on 70mm film so they cant show it there. i know manchester like london and bradford is a film imax (the infinitley better type) rather than a digital one but i dont know if it can do digital as well. to be honest i wouldnt bother with it in imax, its converted fake imax in the same way its fake convterted 3d

altho manchester does have a fake imax at the odeon (relative big wide screen digital) so it might show there. but again thats not really imax
