Avengers: Doomsday Leaked Footage Features Doctor Doom, The X-Men, Sentinels, & More

We had heard that some leaks may be coming, and sure enough, a 1-minute, 12-second clip from Avengers: Doomsday has found its way online...

UPDATE: Though we're still not certain if this leak is legit, a slightly better quality version of the clip without as many watermarks is now doing the rounds.

Rumors circulated that some Avengers: Doomsday leaks may be on the way following the unauthorized release of those Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailers, and sure enough, a full clip from the massive MCU event movie has been shared online.

The footage is pixelated and there's no sound, but as far as we can tell, this is the real deal and not an AI-generated fake.

The clip begins with Doctor Doom seemingly activating some Sentinels, as we see Thor and Steve Rogers preparing for battle. The God of Thunder calls Stormbreaker to his hand, while the former Captain America summons Mjölnir.

As the robotic terrors rise from the ground, members of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts (aka the New Avengers), and the Avengers team led by Sam Wilson assemble. The footage concludes with Cyclops unleashing an optic blast as a Sentinel fires off its devastating hand canons.

Could this just be the first of multiple leaks? Rumor has it that someone got their hands on a full trailer and some stills, so it's entirely possible.

Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars were hit with significant delays last year, with Doomsday now set to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars positioned for December 17, 2027.

Both movies will be directed by the Russo brothers, who also make their MCU return after helming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

"Being able to create stories and explore characters within the Marvel Universe fulfilled a life-long dream of ours, and we discovered a powerful connection with audiences in each film that we made. We’re thrilled to collaborate once again with Kevin, Lou and the entire Marvel team to bring this epic adventure in storytelling to new and surprising places for both the fans and ourselves”, said The Russos in a statement after the SDCC panel.

Doomsday will star:

Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Florence Pugh as Yelena, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, James Marsden as Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent

Along with Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Tenoch Huerta Mejia as Namor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, and, of course, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

@Amaru - i think it's legit but the unfinished CGI makes it look like AI? But man there is no hype in this movie.

Another thing that the Russos cant do is setting up an action sequence in a populated area. It gets tiring really. Im trying to recall all the set pieces from IW and Endgame and nothing compares to how Whedon did it with Avengers 1 and 2 or Gunn's GOTG.

The closest I can recall are some scenes from CAWS and CW but those were executed easily such that the people are just absent with no interactions with the heroes/villains at all

This clip is so generic pure cgi slop. Cant even make the effort to have everyone be there.
Huttsbane
Huttsbane - 6/13/2026, 11:05 PM
@vectorsigma - exactly. It looks really bad. Even the teasers they put out were underwhelming.
vectorsigma
vectorsigma - 6/13/2026, 11:28 PM
@Huttsbane - Marvel and co are so full of themselve thinking that they can just follow the same generic and tiring fornula and still get 2B at the BO.

This clip for example looks exactly like that idiotic all girl scene in Endgame. The camera rotation, the characters landing and the shot of everyone preparing for battle.

I feel bad for the fanboys
jasonvoorhees
jasonvoorhees - 6/14/2026, 2:43 AM
@vectorsigma - Yes, they can do. They just don't want action scenes with simple minded destruction orgies, or killing innocent peoples. Are action scenes are more grounded. Which is good.
vectorsigma
vectorsigma - 6/14/2026, 2:52 AM
@jasonvoorhees - give me an example.

The Russo skills are limited and they are only comfortable shooting in a soundstage with only their stars around
Bucky74
Bucky74 - 6/14/2026, 8:51 AM
@vectorsigma - That’s one of my concerns with this, that they filmed everyone in separate little bites and they’re going to smash them together in post. It’s not a cartoon. The thrill is seeing these actors actually interact on screen together.
Bucky74
Bucky74 - 6/14/2026, 8:54 AM
@vectorsigma - Exactly. Anyone can use an AI program nowadays to make it look like they’re all together. If we’re paying money we want them all actually on screen together not filmed separately and smashed together in post.
vectorsigma
vectorsigma - 6/14/2026, 9:08 AM
@Bucky74 - the bad taste of Deadpool and Wolverine is still lingering for me. That film will serve as a template for what we will see here and unfortunately, its BO gave Marvel the wrong signals.

And this clip, which I think is legit proves my doubts for Doomsday
Bucky74
Bucky74 - 6/14/2026, 10:50 AM
@vectorsigma - I personally absolutely loved the unhinged dumb fun of Deadpool and Wolverine and ate up the nostalgia bait like a guppy. The action was bloody and well done and the cameos worked for me. That said, I do agree that that formula will not hit every time and there needs to be more in an Avengers film to carry it. I think cameos and nostalgia can work great, but they do have to be balanced with great stories and character interactions (again, the “buddy cop” thing worked perfectly for DP and Wolvie).

@TheShellyMan - I have to agree. It used to be a lot more enjoyable here. The hate only came from a few people. Everyone has gotten entitled and spoiled. The content that we used to get of comic book movies was few and far between and sometimes not that good either so it’s not like it was only quality before.

Bucky74
Bucky74 - 6/14/2026, 10:56 AM
@IAmAHoot - I think strong criticism for the products we pay for is a good thing. It forces the billionaire Hollywood machine to up its game or lose money. Gushing over every bit of IP a studio puts out even when it’s bad only solidifies that they don’t have to try.

But I do agree that it can go overboard at times. I loved He Man (but, fact is, it did bomb) and am looking forward to BND. It’s just as okay to get excited about this stuff. If it turns out great, show your love. But if you think it sucks, it’s also fine to say so. I hate crap like The Acolyte and the sequel trilogy (and The Marvels), and would never pay to see it or bother, but if you enjoy that, it’s your right too.

@Yellow - that maga troll is still here and he's the one that says reboot everything and everything sucks. You're the kind of person that says someone is a hater if they don't like something or they're toxic. Give me a [frick]ing break
Rpendo
Rpendo - 6/14/2026, 11:17 AM
@IAmAHoot - It has gotten pretty bad. I mean, I don’t think that constant fanboy gushing positivity is great, and there is nothing wrong with criticism, not liking something, etc… but a small group of guys here are just relentlessly negative about EVERYTHING. It’s exhausting. They post 10-50 times a day about how much they just hate everything, which begs the question of “why are you even here? Why do you even watch these movies?”

I mean, I’m excited for Doomsday and Spider-Man. I am looking forward to Supergirl. I am incredibly excited for the next Batman. If any of these movies fail to meet my expectations, I mean…oh well? Like, that sucks, but I am not going to spend literal years bitching about it online.

If these movies make you angry and bitter, just go watch something else. Don’t stare at your phone or tablet all miserable and spewing that misery online thirty times a day. I love superheroes, I love comic books, and I am incredibly happy we have had so many good-to-great movies based on these…but at the end of the day, they’re movies about people in silly costumes fighting evil robots and monsters and bank robbers. Being disappointed if you walk out of the theater after a movie didn’t hit for you is one thing…being impotently filled with rage because of a movie and dwelling on that constantly and publicly is just bizarre and pathetic.

@bobevanz - i'm the kind of person that detects when someone is a hater when never ever says something positive about anything.

I didn't know the maga boy was the same as the "reboot everything", it makes sense now.

The anime fan is also a troll tho.
