UPDATE: Another poster for Avengers: Doomsday has been released, along with a promo for that impressive Doctor Doom popcorn bucket. We've also learned that the movie's World Premiere is scheduled for December 14, two days before fan screenings on the 16th.

Six new posters for Avengers: Doomsday have been released, spotlighting Doctor Doom and his mysterious allies, the Latverian Witches. We also get a closer look at Victor Von Doom's throne and his powers, along with the mask and armour he'll don in the MCU.

All the posters for Avengers: Doomsday have been very Doom-focused, and none of them has remotely hinted that Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. is beneath the mask.

When his casting was announced, the biggest concern among fans was that the MCU's Doom would essentially be an evil Tony Stark. That's clearly not the case, and Marvel Studios is going all in on promoting Doom as a major threat after abandoning plans for Kang the Conqueror.

Back to those Latverian Witches, and fans remain convinced that familiar faces are beneath their masks. Whether that's the case remains to be seen, but it's hard to shake the feeling that these characters will have a significant role to play.

As for the newly revealed theater merchandise, there are many options, and none of them is particularly cheap. Right now, the focus is on Doom and the Sentinels, not the Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes.

The Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four have also yet to feature on any officially released posters beyond a single international one-sheet.

Check out these new Avengers: Doomsday posters and the first wave of theater merch below.

I do kinda like the Sentinel bucket - still has some vestigial Jack Kirby vibes.

It is a damn shame they cast RDJ as VvD. RDJ is great and was great as Tony Stark.

@Truebeliever333 - yes but why can’t he be great as both?.

We have had many actors play multiple comic characters so I feel RDJ could aswell…

I get it’s weird because it’s kind of in the same universe but Doom is from the FF’s Earth so the MCU isn’t even his universe.

@TheVisionary25 - Sure others have played multiple roles but not anything close to this. And I like RDJ and not just as Tony Stark. I just think this was a bad decision but I think I understand it. Disney is worried about the franchise and RDJ is the biggest name they have. But, his price is absurd and his VvD won’t be as good as someone else’s might have been. Mads for example and that would have been another actor doing multiple roles but his role in Dr. Strange was forgettable, unfortunately.
