ScreenX has shared the latest trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, and the wider screen format has revealed a few intriguing new details.

As the camera zooms in on Doctor Doom in one shot, the Latervarian Witches can be seen bowing to the villain's right, and as Alex Perez notes, there appear to be even more of these mysterious magic-wielders than we realized.
We've been hearing that Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) would likely be accompanied by female "variants" for a while now, but we're still not sure who is beneath the masks. Fans are hoping that one of these disciples will turn out to be the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), but there are plenty of other possibilities.
If a recent plot leak is to be believed, one of these Witches will actually be revealed as a shape-shifter who takes the form of Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) in an attempt to fool Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). Other theories point to Clea (Charlize Theron) and Sylvie Laufeydottir (Sophia Di Martino).
Doom is clearly going to have a lot of backup in Doomsday and Secret Wars, as we see the ruler of Latveria "recruiting" Bruce Banner in one of Avengers Endgame: Encore's new post-credits scenes.
“I think [what] we could say is, [Banner] is certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom,” co-director Joe Russo told Empire Online in a recent interview. “We will not confirm nor deny his appearance in Doomsday.”
Anthony Russo added, “The farthest we can go is to say, there are characters and actors who have not been announced, who are a part of Doomsday.”

Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars were hit with significant delays last year, with Doomsday now set to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars positioned for December 17, 2027.
Both movies will be directed by the Russo brothers, who also make their MCU return after helming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
