Obama's deportations also included people who were turned away at the border so people who were pulled out of their house were actually very few and had serious criminal record. The key thing separating Obama and other administration is exactly that, people who were turned away at the border were faced with a legal order that banned them from re-entry so it was marked as deportation. 400k people weren't actually pulled from their home along with their families unlike what is happening under Trump.
