"Christopher Nolan (Memento) will direct Warner Bros.' next Batman installment and a source says young bucks like Billy Crudup (Almost Famous), Jake Gyllenhaal (The Good Girl), Christian Bale (American Psycho), Hugh Dancy (Black Hawk Down), Joshua Jackson (The Skulls) and Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later) are being considered for the nippled batsuit."
