The Batman Part II is shooting in Glasgow, Scotland, and the Batmobile has finally seen some action. With the sequel set to take place during the winter—Christmas decorations have been spotted, while rumours about a New Year's Eve party involving the Court of Owls have swirled—Gotham City is looking suitably snowy.

With a camera rig attached to the back of the Caped Crusader's primary means of transportation, the Batmobile was spotted performing donuts in the snow. The engine sounds incredible, and should be suitable deafening in Premium Large Format screens a couple of years from now.

A GCPD SWAT van was also spotted, and given that we know the Batmobile will sustain heavy damage, it seems safe to say that Gotham's finest may still be looking to bring Batman down.

Unsurprisingly, The Batman Part II's plot is being kept under wraps, and conflicting reports about who is playing who continue to dominate the news cycle. Short of set photos including any character-related spoilers, we'll likely remain in the dark for now.

Glasgow has become a popular location for Hollywood productions. The city recently doubled for New York City in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and it was also featured heavily in 2022's The Batman

"The script is extraordinary," Robert Pattinson has said of The Batman Part II"I think it’s going to be a really, really special movie and very, very different. It’s going to be interesting seeing it come out. It’s taking some big swings."

He later added, "The script is so good. It's kinda crazy, because the first one was a little bit of a different type of Batman movie, and this is a really different type of Batman movie. Hopefully, people will be really pleasantly surprised by it."

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script by him and Mattson Tomlin, The Batman Part II stars Robert Pattinson, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, Charles Dance, Jayme Lawson, Gil Perez-Abraham, Sebastian Koch, and Brian Tyree Henry.

The Batman Part II is set to be released in theaters on February 18, 2028.

The Batmobile looks like the one from the previous film. That is a let down.

@Forthas - the attempts lately have been pathetic.
I didn't like Bale's but I understood its purpose.

Keaton's? Freaking best ever. Even the bad movie in the 90s had better batmobiles.

Again, the "Batmobile" looks like a generic muscle car. 🫤
