UPDATE: Protesters are now on the set of The Batman Part II, and there are rumblings that Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne will soon report to set (his car is there, anyway).
However, the big news is a sign that states "Court of Fowls," potentially confirming that the villainous Court of Owls will appear in the sequel. If not, that's one heck of an Easter Egg...
The Batman Part II is now filming in London, and Bruce Wayne's custom '63 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray has been spotted on set. It's a gorgeous vehicle, and one that suggests we could see more of the billionaire in the public eye this time.
St Paul's Cathedral is being used as a double for the Gotham Bar Association, lending weight to theories that we'll see Gotham City District Attorney Harvey Dent in The Batman sequel. Whether he'll be played by Sebastian Stan or Brian Tyree Henry remains a mystery to us.
Cameras were also rolling in the nearby Freemasons Hall. That was previously used in the 2015 James Bond movie, Spectre, and has led to renewed speculation about the Court of Owls appearing in The Batman Part II. Why? Well, it certainly looks like the kind of place they might gather.
There's a lot we don't know about the movie, including who the villains are, so we can only speculate for now about what's happening in these prestigious London locations. Hopefully, additional photos follow, though we wouldn't necessarily bank on those showcasing the sequel's big bad, for example.
During a recent interview with Collider, Stan talked about how his role as Donald Trump in The Apprentice led to him starring in The Batman Part II.
"All these directors, they watch each other, believe it or not," the actor started. "Matt Reeves knows [Cristian Mungiu], and he knows Ali Abbasi. He was a big fan of The Apprentice, and that’s how that conversation started. I mean, not in a million years did I think that doing that movie was going to lead to me having a conversation with that director."
"If all I can say about the movie is that, it’s just to say that there’s real thought behind that movie and [Matt Reeves] certainly has thought about it for 3-4 years," Stan teased.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script by him and Mattson Tomlin, The Batman Part II stars Robert Pattinson, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, Charles Dance, Jayme Lawson, Gil Perez-Abraham, Sebastian Koch, and Brian Tyree Henry.
The Batman Part II is set to be released in theaters on February 18, 2028.
