Guardians of the Galaxy. Due to an inability to come to terms on salary, the role went to WWE wrestler, Dave Bautista, despite Momoa being the first choice for the role.
Regardless of how this all shakes out, filming on
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently underway. The film stars Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg. Co-starring are Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Laurence Fishburne, Tao Okamoto and Callan Mulvey. The film is directed by Zack Snyder and will hit US theaters on May 6, 2016.
