Barry is so much more interesting then Wally and story potential because of his day job.

Oh Please don't tell me that somehow Batman is involved in Barry getting his powers that will be a really stupid change to his origin.

Why is everything revolving around Batman and Gotham?

cuz it's Batman's 75th anniversary next year.

Also not all Zero Year tie-ins revolve around Batman per se, they show what other heroes were doing at that time.

@ Optimus

Hot! But she probably lack the acting chops to carry her own franchise.

Lol! If Batman played a role in Barry getting powers.

Batman: "I made you, now go make daddy a sandwich."

Flash: "Right away, sir!"

Batman: "And tell Superman to hurry up with my drink before I bitch slap him again."

Flash: "Yes sir!"

Sucks that Manapul and Buccellato aren't gonna be working on this together anymore. It's easily one of the most consistent books to come out of the new52. Pretty sure Buccellato is staying on as solo writer though so hopefully the quality won't drop.

Don't know about you lot, but I see Zero Year exactly how I saw villains month; as a delay tactic to avoid continuing the major story lines. NOT saying that all the villains month tie-in's and zero year are un-interesting or boring...I just see them as a delay tactic given their too close together. Also annoying given how long we waited for batman's zero year after it was...I guess we could say priviewed? It's like krypton returns...HOW LONG has it been since they made a reference that it was coming? Dc's new strategy:

DC 1: Ok we promote a new crossover and then wait 4 - 6 months before actually using it...or whenever we need a delay tactic for an awsome storyline.

DC 2: Works for me

Really... this place holder thing is why I end up improving my silver age collection. I simply do not buy current books when I know that everything is going to put on hold for a cross over.

The current state of DC is a pain because they can produce some really good books.

Looking good, picking this up this week.

And Wally is so much better then Barry.
