Marvel is bringing out the big guns for their Free Comic Book Day lineup this year, with Secret Empire FCBD #1 leading the charge. Joining that will be All-New Guardians of the Galaxy and a sneak peek at Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man (details for which you can find here), and below is the cover for this opening chapter of the Captain America event. It's fair to say that none of us ever expected to see Steve Rogers looking like this!
Secret Empire is set to revolve around the heroes of the Marvel Universe uniting against Captain America after he, Lady Hydra, and Baron Zemo attempt to take over the world in the name of the dastardly organisation. Nick Spencer (Secret Avengers) is penning the issue, while Andrea Sorrentino (Old Man Logan) will provide the artwork.
A #0 issue is already planned for this event before the main thing kicks off, so how much this will reveal about what's to come there remains to be seen. It could just be a recap of the events leading up to the moment Cap makes his villainous nature known, but considering the fact this is free, it should be worth checking out regardless!
