COMICS: HydraCap's Fate Revealed In SECRET EMPIRE: OMEGA #1 Preview
Steve Rogers returned to defeat HydraCap in Secret Empire #10 but what's going to become of the villain? Well, this first look at Secret Empire: Omega #1 sheds some light on what's next for him...
In Secret Empire #10, the original Steve Rogers was brought back via the Cosmic Cube. However, the Captain America loyal to Hydra and imposing his will over the world was technically the real deal too as his memories were changed by the Red Skull and Kobik so he was left believing that he'd always been part of the villainous organisation. As a result, there are now two Caps in the Marvel Universe!
In this first look at epilogue story Secret Empire: Omega #1, we see the heroic Steve visiting HydraCap in the extremely secure facility he's being kept in and that promises to make for a tense exchange!
Many fans have wondered if the two would somehow be merged but it appears as if the plan is to have HydraCap remain part of the Marvel Universe - possibly as Captain Hydra - so he can one day return to plague Steve and the rest of The Avengers. If that is the case, it seems there will be no simple fix to this story and that we can forget about a Cosmic Cube being used to bring back HydraCap's victims!
