Hey guys, Casey here!

Alright, apparently superhero TV shows are in now, so it's not a surprise that a Jessica Jones story got picked up by Netflix.

If you don't already know, Jessica Jones is a Marvel character first seen in November of 2001. She was involved in a car crash in high school, killing her parents, but granting her superpowers. She possesses superhuman strength, is more resistant to harm than a normal human, and has the ability to fly.

The Netflix series is called AKA Jessica Jones and stars Krysten Ritter as the title character, you probably know her from Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 and Breaking Bad. It's going to be based on the comic Alias where Jessica has retired and has opened her own detective agency.

Here's why this is great, Krysten has familiarized herself with Alias and has shown real interest in the show. I think she is perfectly casted for the role. Netflix knows what shows are becoming and what viewers want. It is known for being very loose and freeing in its production, which I think is a plus. Another reason why this show is going to be great is the rest of the cast. There's David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Patrica Walker and Carrie-Ann Moss as Harper, an original character. Everyone in the show has proven they can make it great, Netflix has shown that it can master good TV and the showrunner, Melissa Rosenberg, can be trusted with handling this. The only way this can be bad is some freak accident, like radioactive waste spilling all over everything.

Alright you guys, I'm out!
