Titan Comics has announced that Arsenal FC: The Game We Love will be released next month on May 4th. The officially licensed graphic novel highlights the club's history thanks to a unique story that follows a new step-father, Andy, as he takes his step-son Nathan to his first soccer/football match.

Will Andrew's passion for his favorite soccer club, Arsenal, allow him to break the ice? Will sharing the stories of "The Invincibles" 2003/04 season, the record-breaking FA Cup win in 2017, and the construction of the Emirates Stadium turn Nathan into a fan?

Titan Comics was kind enough to send us the cover for Arsenal FC: The Game We Love as well as a few of the interior pages. We've included them below, and all of the images can be clicked to view larger versions.

Arsenal FC: The Game We Love is now available for pre-order through Amazon.com, Forbidden Planet, Waterstones and for digital devices. The hardcover retails for $19.99 and you can get the Kindle/comiXology edition for a dollar less ($18.99).

ComicBookMovie.com and Best Little Sites was the brainchild of Nate and a friend way back in 2002. Nate initially focused on the back-end programming and front-end design, but now manages the company and its associated sites as well, with a LOT of help from some very talented contributors.

Nate has loved comics from a very young age and continues to read them on a regular basis thanks to subscriptions to various titles (both Marvel and DC). He also loves movies, as his wife and children will attest. He's not overly critical of movies, so his reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as he's much more interested in being entertained and escaping the "real" world for a couple of hours than finding every conceivable plot-hole and character flaw in a film.

Outside of his guilty "nerdy" pleasures, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, CrossFit, playing guitar, coaching youth sports and MMA (he spent a couple of years in the cage as an NHB fighter, but is now MUCH too old).

There were some great times, hopefully they'll return (Preferably when someone buys us off Stan Kroenke).

If this doesn't focus too much on the football itself, this could be really great

@Reeds2Much - I hate how right you are lol. American football is awesome, but I’m at the point where I can’t keep watching near 4 hour games, especially when it should’ve in 3 hours tops.

For all you Americans out there, making a graphic novel about Arsenal would be like making one about about the Dallas Cowboys - sure they used to be great, and are still considered a "big" team by many, but they have been distinctly below average for decades now, such that any comparison to the world of superheroes that comes with being in a comic book format is deeply amusing.

@Feralwookiee - I love this new trend of people finally appreciating fun dumb action films for what they are, fun dumb action.

Can’t wait to watch this.

I only follow them because of AFTV (RIP Claude), those guys are hilarious but the team has sucked for years now. I'm a City fan myself. By the way, did you guys see Bayern v PSG? Both legs were amazing!
Minghagz
Minghagz - 4/13/2021, 10:38 PM
@Kadara - probably would have had a different result if Lewandowski was able to play. Both legs were very entertaining. I'm happy for PSG though, it was like sweet revenge. Choupo-Moting is probably kicking himself for playing on the losing side 2 years in a row.

@Minghagz - I was rooting for Bayern so definitely agree that Lewa would have changed things around for sure. At least they excited with their heads held high.
