AN OLD FRIEND CALLS FOR JOHN’S HELP WHEN AN ANCIENT EVIL SURFACES IN MEXICO – CLAIRE VAN DER BOOM GUEST STARS -- A call from Anne Marie (guest star Claire van der Boom), a member of the fateful Newcastle crew, sends John (Matt Ryan) and Chas (Charles Halford) to Mexico City and brings them closer to the source of The Rising Darkness. Meanwhile, Zed’s (Angélica Celaya) past comes back to haunt her.

I can not believe this show is on the chopping block. Its a f*cking winner man but NBC hasn't renewed it for a second season. If AOS made it past that god awful first season. Constantine damn shol is worth at least 5. #SaveConstantine

The show is NOT getting cancelled! David Goyer himself said that he is pretty certain
It will come back for a second season. NBC is just playing it safe only doing 13 episodes.
I don't think there is anything to worry about.

The show is so f-ing great, but it is kind of in the same position that Agents of Shield is, because people want to see costumed super heroes on these types of shows (the ratings went up specifically on the Jim Corrigan/Spectre episode) even though they aren't really part of the Hellblazer "American Gothic" storyline. Sorry about the run-on sentence.

Don't believe tvbythenumbers yet, even if NBC doesn't pick it up, I can't see it ending at season 1.

Who do we think the shadowy figure is at the end of the last episode?

At first I thought it was Lucifer Morningstar because he kind of reminded me of how he was portrayed in the 2005 movie. However, I doubt Lucifer will be in the show because Fox is reportedly developing a Lucifer TV show and they already teased the First of the Fallen in this show. I think Lucifer and the First of the Fallen won't be in the same show because of how similar they are.

OK, cool! I wonder if 'Michael' will turn out to be anyone we know from the comics. I know that Lucifer in the comics had a brother named Michael Demiurgos but I doubt that was him.

Constantine is not getting cancelled. If 13 episodes = cancelled, Hannibal wouldn't have had a second season.

I hope it does get cancelled by NBC and then picked up by CW......yeah CW would love the ratings that Constantine is getting. An then they can do more crossovers etc......

Because this series started so late in the season, NBC could not give it more than 13 episode. Since the show picks up on ratings every week shows that it will be back for a season 2. Heck they have half of season 2 scripts already written.

If you are a comic book fan and you are not watching this show that you need to turn in your nerd-card. This is by far one of the best Comic Book TV show out there.
