DEADPOOL 3: There's One Past Marvel Actor We Definitely Won't See In The Multiversal Threequel

Deadpool 3 looks set to take the Merc with the Mouth and Wolverine on a trip through the Multiverse, but one reliable scooper has now claimed that there's one past Marvel actor who definitely won't appear.

As a result of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, work on Deadpool 3 has been halted. It's thought the movie had at least a month's worth of shooting left, though it's hard to say whether the threequel stands any sort of chance of meeting its planned May 2024 release date.

We certainly hope Marvel Studios finds a way to make it happen because it's shaping up to be one of the most exciting instalments of the Multiverse Saga to date.

So far, Jennifer Garner's Elektra is Deadpool 3's only confirmed cameo, though we anticipate also seeing the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and possibly even Ben Affleck's Daredevil (not to mention some familiar faces from the MCU's Earth-616).

There is, however, one cameo the movie won't include.

As you can see below, a reliable social media scooper claims there's no chance Wesley Snipes will be given the chance to reprise his role as Blade in Deadpool 3. The reason? For starters, it's been alleged that Halle Berry - who will return as Storm in the movie - was physically assaulted by Snipes when they briefly dated in the 1990s.

Reynolds, meanwhile, starred alongside the actor in Blade: Trinity, a project which reportedly saw Snipes clash with his director and co-stars on multiple occasions.

There have been rumblings about Snipes potentially returning as Blade for several years now, but it's becoming increasingly clear that won't happen. Mahershala Ali is going to play the Daywalker in an eventual MCU reboot, and Deadpool 3 sounds busy enough without throwing vampires into the mix.

Deadpool 3 is set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.
