First off, I wanna say that my story is an origin story. I kinda wanted to make this movie like a biographical movie like Raging Bull or American Gangster. I also wanted to stay as close to Matt's origins as possible. I hope you enjoy it.
Matt Murdock is raised as a child in Hell's Kitchen by his father, "Battling" Jack Murdock. He is never told where his mother is, but he believes that she ran away to become a nun. Matt learns that there is no balance on Earth without rules and he decides to study law. One day, Matt saves an old man from an oncoming truck filled with radioactive cargo. Because of this brave act, Matt loses his eye sight, but his other senses are actually enhanced. As Matt becomes older, he is trained by the martial arts master Stick on how to control his body and emotions. When Matt attends Columbia University, he meets his future law partner Foggy Nelson and his future love interest Elektra Natchios. When Jack refuses to throw a game for Roscoe Sweeny (a mob boss nick-named the Fixer), he is killed by the Fixer's henchman Slade. Matt becomes enraged when the law fails when it was needed most. Matt then takes matters into his own hand and dresses up as a vigilante to stop Sweeny's dealings. Matt's actions give him the name Daredevil. One day after stopping another dealing, Matt sees a woman about to be raped. Matt reluctantly saves her and is deemed the hero of Hell's Kitchen or "The Man Without Fear". After stopping a final dealing (in a new suit), Matt violently interrogates a thug on where he can find Sweeny (after realizing that just stopping the dealings aren't getting him anywhere). Daredevil confronts the Fixer. Once there, the Fixer sends Slade on Daredevil while he makes his escape. Matt brutally beats up Slade and sees the necklace that Jack always wore around Slade's neck. After realizing Slade was the one who actually killed Jack, Matt kills Slade. Still not satisfied, Matt follows Sweeny, using his senses to locate him in a local subway. Daredevil corners Sweeny, but before he can attack, Sweeny dies from a heart attack (induced by fear). Matt returns home and trashes the place, feeling unsatisfied as he did not actually kill Sweeny himself. Matt discovers that he will never actually quench his thirst for vengeance no matter what he does. The next morning, Matt and Foggy open up their law firm, Nelson and Murdock. It is only at that moment when Matt realizes that he is now seen as the "Guardian Devil" of Hell's Kitchen. Matt then accepts that there is only one person who will fight injustice when the legal system fails: Daredevil.
