Avengers: Secret Wars Rumors Reveal New Battleworld Details, A Steve Rogers Twist, And More - Spoilers

Avengers: Secret Wars reportedly begins filming this November, but potential spoilers have already started doing the rounds online. This latest batch comes from insider @MyTimeToShineH, who claims to have shed additional light on the Multiverse Saga's final chapter.

If you've been keeping up to date with Avengers: Doomsday plot leaks, then you'll know that Doctor Doom blames Steve Rogers for the death of his wife and child. The villain eventually takes his revenge, striking down the former Captain America's young son in front of him in what sounds like one of the movie's most shocking moments.

According to this latest leak, "Doom lets Steve keep his memories just so he can gloat," suggesting the Avenger will be imprisoned by Victor Von Doom on Battleworld and forced to watch him rule over the twisted remains of reality. Perhaps this is how Steve ends up an old man? We'll have to wait and see.

It's also said that Avengers: Secret Wars is "set entirely on Battleworld," with the leak adding, "The main protagonists will be a group of rebels who have been separated and are searching for something across Doom’s domains."

Along the way, they'll encounter some surprises as "Hulk, Thor and Shuri each get their own kingdom." This was hinted at in leaked concept art for the movie, while rumours have swirled for a while about us meeting the Thor Corps.

The inside notes, "Three Spider-Men, Deadpool, Wolverine, Reed, Vision, She-Hulk and the Young Avengers on the 'we remember the old world' team in Secret Wars," suggesting they will be the heroes who rise up to challenge Doom.

Avengers: Secret Wars is going to be a massive movie, and like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, it's expected that this second chapter will blow the first away. Given what we know about Avengers: Doomsday, that's a very exciting prospect indeed.

The confirmed (or semi-confirmed, at least) cast of Avengers: Secret Wars includes Robert Downey Jr. (Doctor Doom), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), and Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter).

Also appearing are Pedro Pascal (Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing), Sadie Sink (Jean Grey), and Noah Jupe.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer Michael Waldron has also been enlisted to refine the story, alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day's Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2027.

@SummersEssex - I hope it’s good but right now , all attention on Doomsday…

That will really determine the hype for SW come next December!!.

Who on earth says that Endgame blows Infinity War away?

Bueller?....Bueller?

I mean , no shit that Secret Wars is entirely set on Battleworld since that just seems fairly obvious imo given the comic it’s taking inspiration from…

Also I can definitely see Doom letting Steve keep his memories though not to gloat but have him also remember and continually feel the pain of losing the ones he loved as Victor has while he is imprisoned in his dungeon.

Anyway , Secret Wars being a medieval-esque epic fantasy film akin to LOTR of heroes trying to take down a powerful evil could be pretty sweet but we’ll see if we get that or not!!.

My biggest concern with Secret Wars, is them making it the last ditch effort to get people to give a shit about Iron Heart, Echo, Ms Marvel, Casey Lang, and Kate Bishop and making them the reason everything is saved. 90% of the audience doesn't give a flying fuuuuuuck about these characters, let alone the general audience.

I'll watch Doomsday on opening day of wednesday december 16th, but i expect not to be wowed by most of the movie.

I already have tickets for Dune 3 for tuesday december 15th and expect fully to like it more than Avengers.
