Amanda Seyfried Joins the Cast of Joe Wright's PAN
With shooting underway next week, things are ramping up with director Joe Wright's Peter Pan prequel, and Amanda Seyfried has joined the likes of Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney Mara for a new version of a classic tale.
Joe Wright's untitled Peter Pan prequel (tentatively named Pan) is set to start production next week, and the full cast of the film has now been confirmed. Amanda Seyfried (A Million Ways to Die in the West) will play Mary (likely Mary Darling, but this is unconfirmed), joining Levi Miller as Peter Pan, Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund as Hook and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily. Rounding out the supporting cast are Jack Charles, Nonso Anozie, Lewis MacDougall, Kathy Burke, Kurt Egyiawan, Taejoo Na and newcomer Leni Zieglmeier as Wendy Darling. The movie will put a new spin on the story by J.M. Barrie, with a WWII-set adventure that sees a young orphan abducted by pirates and realises he is destined to save the land. Pan will hit theatres in 2015.
