Christopher Nolan has had an immense career that is closing in on 3 decades. His first feature film "Following"  which was a noire crime thriller, debuted at the San Francisco Film Festival in 1998. Since that debut, he has been hailed as one of the great filmmakers of our time, with such acclaimed releases as Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, and Oppenheimer, to name a few.

Writer, director and now...rapper? Yes, you read that correctly. The Odyssey star John Leguizamo, recently had an exclusive interview with  Liam Crowley, over at Screen Rant and shared a very interesting bit of info regarding the end credits of the movie:

John Leguizamo: Oh, but I like the Travis Scott last one in this movie.

Liam Crowley: Oh yeah, the closing credits.

John Leguizamo: With Chris being one of the lyricists.

It was reported that rapper Travis Scott had provided a new song for the film, which was reported here by Josh Wilding. This isn't the first time that Travis and Nolan have collabed, as he provided the song "The Plan" for the Tenet soundtrack. As much as I would pay to see Christopher Nolan hop in the vocal booth to lay down those bars, it's still pretty wild he helped craft the lyrics to this song. This marks the first songwriter credit for the filmmaker.

The new song from Travis Scott entitled "WHEN I'M HOME" will play during the end-credits of The Odyssey. The track was produced by Ludwig Göransson. The swedish musician and composer has won 3 Academy Awards for his scores on Black Panther, Oppenheimer and Sinners. The song also has additional vocals provided by English singer-songwriter James Blake.

The Odyssey is a 2026 epic fantasy action film written and directed by Christopher Nolan. An adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic the Odyssey, the film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, the Greek king of Ithaca, and chronicles his long and perilous journey home after the Trojan War and his encounters with mythical beings as he attempts to reunite with his wife, Penelope, portrayed by Anne Hathaway. The ensemble cast includes Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron. Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas produced the film through their production company, Syncopy.

The Odyssey hits theatres and IMAX on July 17th, 2026. no reviews or ratings are currently online, but early social media reactions, have praised the film as not only Nolans best, but one of the best films of the last few decades.

Will you be sticking around to hear the debut of Christopher Nolans rap career during the end credits?
