The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.


A new trailer should be online tomorrow at 9am EST! The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug hits theaters this December.

At first I never really liked Evans nor was I ever impressed by his acting qualities. Looks like his giving his best on this one!!

kinda of a dumb look to choose for bard, he looks IDENTICAL to orlando bloom in pirates. everyone i showed the trailer to was like "why does legolas have a soul patch?"
