IRON MAN 2 Actor Sam Rockwell Wants To Reprise His Role As Justin Hammer In The MCU

It has been nearly a decade since Iron Man 2 hit theaters, but with Avengers: Endgame set for release next week, excitement over the Marvel Cinematic Universe has never been higher.

At this point, fans have seen many characters come and go throughout Marvel Studios' eleven year filmography, one of which was Sam Rockwell's Justin Hammer.

Hammer was basically portrayed as the anti-Tony Stark in the 2010 sequel, and when it came to the prospect of portraying the character again, the Academy Award-winning actor sounded very enthusiastic to do so during his Reddit AMA:

It remains to be seen whether Kevin Feige will give the man a call or not, though it's hard to imagine how Hammer might fit in to The MCU post-Endgame. The last time Rockwell appeared in the MCU was during the All Hail the King one-shot, where he was spotted sitting at Seagate Prison.

How would you like to see Justin Hammer return?
