2019 is shaping up to be an amazing year for blockbusters and
Godzilla: King of the Monsters looks set to keep that momentum going this May. Now, an epic new banner has been released to coincide with the news that the sequel will indeed receive a theatrical release in China.
It will debut there on May 31st, and it's safe to assume that it should receive a fairly significant boost at the worldwide box office after opening in the Middle Kingdom.
We know that the plan is for Godzilla to square off with King Kong after this movie, but there's currently no word on who will be the "hero" and "villain" in the sure-to-be epic clash. We're bound to get some major hints about that in
King of the Monsters, though, and that should be a lot of fun, especially as it seems Warner Bros. is trying to build a shared universe of sorts.
