The cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters has added one more today as it's been revealed that Game of Thrones alum Charles Dance has joined the cast of the sequel. There's no word on who he'll play here, but the British actor is well known for playing villains after taking on the role of Tywin Lannister in that HBO series and any number of bad guys in Dracula Untold and the Underworld franchise.

Plot details remain under wraps, but it's also been confirmed that Sally Hawkins will be returning as
Dr. Vivienne Graham. She's only the second cast member from the first film to return. The other is Ken Watanabe and this makes sense considering their connection to the organisation known as Monarch.

Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Kyle Chandler (Bloodline), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Aisha Hinds (Underground), and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton) will also star. Michael Doughetry (Krampus) is directing Godzilla: King of the Monsters from a script he co-wrote with Krampus writing partner Zach Shields. The movie is set to be released on March 22nd, 2019.
