A Fox studio exec says fans should expect some news on the film soon.

A film based on Marvel Comics' cosmic skyrider, the Silver Surfer, is still in Fox' plans but "there's no development yet," according to studio exec Tom Rothman.

However, fans "should stay closely tuned" for an announcement "soon," he told IESB.
