While we've seen a few promotional pieces and a very brief teaser, there hasn't been all that much showcased from Marvel's latest
Spider-Man animated series, which is set to premiere "mid-2017". A new piece of promo art has now made its way online that provides a better look at some of the designs for wall-crawler's classic villains, including
Doctor Octopus, the
Green Goblin, and the
Vulture (who is not-so-subtly inspired by his upcoming MCU debut).
The piece comes from artist
Patrick Brown, who confirmed on his
DeviantArt page that the designs are for the new animated series. These representations will probably be welcomed by many fans, especially since the last series,
Ultimate Spider-Man, reinterpreted the classic foes in some unorthodox ways. Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
