Moviehole caught up with Natalie Portman now filming V for Vendetta in London and the actress denied she was ever in the running to play Lois Lane in Superman Returns.

She also said that if Luc Besson ever did a sequel to The Professional, starring the French John Wayne – Jean Reno, she’d jump at the chance to play Mathilda again.

A UK-based writer recently wrote a spec outline for a sequel and Portman has talked with about it.
