'Casey Jones' Meets The TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES In New Set Videos
A couple of spy vids from the New York set of the currently shooting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel have surfaced, and seem to feature the first meeting of the Heroes in a Half-Shell and fan-favourite vigilante Casey Jones, as the latter rescues April O'Neil from a Foot Clan ninja.
The following videos were taken this past Thursday night as scenes for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel were shooting on the streets of New York. The first sees April (Megan Fox) being chased into an alley by what appears to be a member of the Foot Clan, only to be rescued by Stephen Amell's Casey Jones. After the scuffle the Turtles make their presence known and Jones does not react well, forcing April to step in and diffuse the situation. In the various TMNT comics and TV shows Casey and Raphael have a strong friendship though the two start out as enemies/rivals initially, so it'll be interesting to see if they have that dynamic in this movie. The second vid appears to show the lads having some fun between takes as Amell and Fox look on.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is directed by Dave Green (Earth to Echo) with a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol). Fox and Amell will be joined by Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick, Brian Tee as Shredder, and model Alessandra Ambrosio as herself. Laura Linney also has an undisclosed role.
