The first clip from episode 3 of VisionQuest, "Reboot," has been revealed, and it finds Vision attempting to calm down a very inquisitive and understandably angry Tommy Shepard.
Complicating matters is the fact that a killer drone is honing in on their location; there's also the small matter of the AIs inside Vision's head making their opinions known. E.D.I.T.H., Dum-E, and U show up, as does the ever-snarky Ultron (with a killer line about why Dum-E is his "favourite").
Marvel Studios has also released a new poster for VisionQuest, hinting at Ultron's influence over his son. There may be no strings on him, but it certainly looks as if he'd like to attach some to the synthezoid that resides in the body once meant to be his.
The second episode of the Disney+ series showed a particularly brutal side to the White Vision, something Paul Bettany addressed during a recent interview with GamesRadar+.
"When we find Vision, he has had his memories restored, but he seems unable or perhaps unwilling to attach any feelings to them, and I think that's a really human thing to do," the actor explained. "It was fun to think of him getting frustrated because I don't think we've ever seen that."
"I think we've seen Vision be quite measured and contained, and to see him get angry in yes, ruthless ways, but also later on in sort of funny, frustrated ways with potentially his son in a situation that we will all recognize, like a father teaching their son to drive or whatever, just being really frustrated with them. It was really fun to play or have all of these new experiences for Vision and different facets of him."

In our review, we concluded, "Paul Bettany and James Spader are masterful in VisionQuest, a staggering achievement by Marvel Studios and Terry Matalas that understands its characters, does right by them, and delivers one of the best MCU stories ever told."
In VisionQuest, Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponise him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron.
His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision's son, reincarnated. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron's influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he’s to survive.
VisionQuest stars Paul Bettany, James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T'Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, with Emily Hampshire and James D'Arcy.
The series premieres on Disney+ on October 14.
