Ezra Miller is no stranger to courting controversy, and the Fantastic Beasts actor recently found himself in the headlines after appearing to threaten members of the KKK on social media. Now, he's raised eyebrows yet again with an Instagram Stories post that seems to be a response to Justice League co-star Ben Affleck.

The Tender Bar actor has been doing the rounds to promote his new film, and recently addressed his status as Batman in the DCEU. Affleck's appearance in the upcoming Flash movie is expected to be his final time in the cape and cowl, something he himself appeared to confirm while chatting to Variety last month.

Affleck said his time working on The Flash was the best he's ever felt playing The Dark Knight after his negative experience shooting the theatrical cut of Justice League, but reiterated that it would be his last appearance as the iconic DC Comics hero. Miller shared a screenshot from the article, underlining "one last time" and writing "HA, Ha, Ha" in very Joker-esque font.

What does this mean? We have no idea! Miller may simply be having some fun with his followers, but it could also suggest that he knows something we don't about Affleck's tenure as Batman.

What do you guys make of Miller's post? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
