UPDATE: Action-Packed New Trailer For THE FLASH And First Look At 'Komodo' In ARROW

The CW have released a brand new trailer for The Flash featuring plenty of great scenes of the Scarlet Speedster heading into action, while the villainous 'Komodo' (Matt Ward) has also been spotted in a new trailer for Arrow which sees Oliver and Roy fighting side-by-side.

The Flash's costume is looking better and better, and with the team working on the series promising that it will start resembling the comic book version more and more as time passes, it's hard to complain. Meanwhile, @dcumoviepage spotted Komodo, a villain who will be played by Matt Ward and who has had a major impact in recent Green Arrow comic books.

UPDATE: As you can see, we've also added a new trailer for Arrow (which is where the shot of Komodo above originates from). What do you guys think of these latest previews?

Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, and John Barrowman, Arrow will air on Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT on The CW with season three set to premiere on October 8th. The Flash meanwhile stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, and is set to debut on the night before on October 7th. Are you excited?

I really don't get people's gripe about the Flash costume... That pic there looks BAD ASSSSSSS!!! New costume gives him a more muscular look. Just hope Gustin starts to do some lifting to match his look in the suit

Does Komodo have sleeves? If he does, why does DC TV veer away from sleeveless costumes?

The Flash costume is awesome and yes it will go through some changes and enhancements in the future.

As far as Komodo, the picture is hard to see but it appears they are on the right track.

Ummm why not? Maybe they are going to build up to season 2 to 4 with the Rogues uniting against The Flash.

I think it is great to establish most the characters in season if they do it in a gradually fashion

After seeing what they have done with Arrow I am confident that they know what they are doing with this series.

@BatzFTWfan - part of what's made Arrow (especially Season 2) so good is that they haven't held back or waited too long to introduce things. Almost every episode is worthwhile and there are only a few fillers. I know I'd rather see 3-5 seasons of great Tv than 10 dragged out seasons any day.

For those of us that saw the "leaked" pilot..

The official version has enhanced special effects and an extra scene. So.. watch the pilot when it actually airs, if you were happy with the leak, you will be happier with the official.
