Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for Loki ahead of season 2's premiere on October 5 (like Ahsoka's move from Wednesdays at midnight to Tuesdays at 6pm, new episodes of Loki will now arrive earlier than expected on Thursdays instead of Fridays).

While it features mostly familiar footage, this preview makes it clear the stakes will be high as time runs out for both the God of Mischief and the Time Variance Authority. The latest Kang Variant, Victor Timely, looms large in the background and looks to pose a major threat to the Multiverse.

Also receiving the spotlight here is Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan as OB. During a recent interview, Loki executive producer Kevin Wright described him as the TVA's "quirky repair guy" who is enlisted by Loki and Mobius to help the former stop glitching through time.

"His job is basically every piece of tech, every computer, every thing that is running at the TVA," Wright explained. "He either designed it, or he fixes it and keeps it running."

Recalling how the actor came to join the MCU, he added, "I think Kevin Feige made a call maybe April 12, just to follow up and say, 'Please, please do this.' Little did we know, Ke is apparently already a giant Marvel fan and was a big fan of Loki season 1."

Check out this new TV spot for Loki below.

Loki season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

The series stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, with Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan and Owen Wilson.

Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani direct episodes. The Head Writer is Eric Martin.

Loki season 2 begins streaming on October 5, exclusively on Disney+.

Are you for real? Do you not understand the concept of a calendar? You’ve already posted a whole article about the Loki date change that was wrong and have ignored everybody calling you out for it. Now you’re doubling down? This is embarrassing
