First Look At STRANGER THINGS Season 2 Features...The Ghostbusters?!
It's been confirmed that a first look at Stranger Things will air during the Super Bowl this Sunday, and in the meantime, Netflix has released the first official - and very 80s - image from the series.
We're used to getting first looks at movies during Super Bowl Sunday, but Entertainment Weekly reveals that Netflix will be showing off a teaser for Stranger Things as well. It's surprising that they've decided to promote this instead of Iron Fist or House of Cards, but considering the fact that the show has been a pop culture phenomenon, it makes sense to use it to add more subscribers to the service.
Before we get to look at that teaser, an image has been revealed featuring Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Will (Noah Schnapp) dressed as Ghostbusters. The second season actually takes place in 1984 - a year after the events of the first - and while the demogorgon is gone, executive producer Shawn Levy tells the site that the "evil" wasn't. Sounds pretty damn cool, right?
