Netflix Officially Renews STRANGER THINGS For Season 2; Check Out The First Teaser
Given the immense popularity of Stranger Things it was really only a matter of time, but Netflix has now officially announced that we'll be returning to the Upside-Down for 9 brand new episodes next year..
Stranger Things may not have been based on a comic, but with its many Marvel references, enthralling mix of horror/fantasy/sci-fi, and its throwback appeal, the first season soon became very popular 'round these parts.
Now, Netflix has announced that we'll be getting 9 new episodes in 2017 via the teaser below. There's no actual footage of course, but we do get the intriguing titles of each new installment.
The Duffer Brothers spoke to EW about what fans can expect from season 2. They don't give too much away, but do confirm that the story will once again focus on the same batch of characters - however, they stop just short of revealing whether Eleven (who "died" in the season finale) will also be back.
