STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN Set Photos Reveal A Mysterious Alien Character

Not much is known about The Mandalorian beyond the fact that it will take place on the planet Mandalore but now some new photos from the set of the Disney TV series show a very cool looking alien...

Lucasfilm may have put its Star Wars spinoff movies on the backburner for the time being but the studio is currently hard at work on developing a live-action TV series titled The Mandalorian for Disney's upcoming streaming service. Now, more photos from the set of this mysterious show have started doing the rounds online and they feature an unidentified alien character of some sort.

While there has been some speculation that this little guy could be a significant part of the series, based on the report below (where you can also see these set photos), he's probably just an extra who will be seen in the background. It's also noted that he looks a little like some of the aliens we saw in Star Wars: The Last Jedi's Canto Blight sequence but that's probably little more than a coincidence.

What do you guys think of these set photos? Be sure to let us know your thoughts down below.

I was always surprised that Marvel did so little recycling of sets and props from their hugely-budgeted films for their various TV shows, although the supposed schism between the film and television side of things explains it to a point. I’m betting that the Star Wars tv shows will be all over that kind of thing, however, really letting them stretch the budget.
