NetherRealm has finally done the expected and took one of the characters from their famous franchise, Mortal Kombat and actually found a way to redesign him for DC Comics fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed today that 'Scorpion' of Mortal Kombat fame, will once again be tackling DC Comics heroes and villains as downloadable content for Injustice: Gods Among Us. He will be priced at 5$ but his release date is unknown. As you can see, Scorpion looks somewhat different. That is because this version was designed by Jim Lee! Wait, Martian's not in the game? Lame. Scorpion is always cool, but his moves are pretty much exactly the same as the last MK. Kinda cheap.

This is really stupid.

Injustice is a DC fighting game. There are a huge range of DC characters but they have to put in a Mortal Kombat one.

What a waste.

Don't like him in the game. His gameplay is pretty cool. I wouldn't be too surprised if at SDCC Neatherrealm announces a second "Fan Demanded" season pass with Martian Manhunter, Red Hood, Zatanna and Static Shock...Although I would love Swamp Thing

A $5 price tag just for one character? Are you kidding me right...are you kidding me. I didn't have to pay $5 bucks for characters on my super nintendo and sure as hell didn't pay em on my sega genesis or atari so what makes them think I am dishing out money for that only to help em buy some food. Ridiculous and for the most useless character that doesn't even belong in the story.

A complete waste of space. So many awesome DC characters left out of this game, and Neatherrealm has to pimp out a character thats been in every single version of Mortal Kombat. Super good idiots. Wouldn't it make more sense to release Zod as the next DLC considering MOS imminent release?. Seems to me given all the buzz surrounding MOS they'd get a lot more downloads of him than scorpion

I think he looks pretty cool. I don't get the whining about him being an MK character. It's just one character. They can still make others. Now, if they start adding a bunch of MK characters and it turns into DC vs. MK 2, I think there's reason to be ticked off. But I don't really see anything wrong with one MK cameo.
