A great movie. The front-runner for Best Animated Feature come next year's Oscars.

It's inevitable to compare Pixar's latest feature with its canon of Hall of Fame animated features.

UP definitely belongs in the high echelon along with Wall-E & The Incredibles. A smart, heart warming, very well written (again, right), perfect voice casting of Ed Asner as the lead.

It doesn't necessarily have the technical prowess of Wall-E or the high-level entertainment springs of The Incredibles but it draws a pretty fine mixture of the two. Entertaining, funny (but not hilarious), a mature at times teary eyed coming of age story.

Great movie.

Grade: 9/10.

Final Words: It's worth the extra few bucks in 3D. The family movie of the summer!!!
