This was far from an easy question. Batman Begins told the definitive origin story of Batman. The Dark Knight brought us Heath Ledger's Oscar winning performance as The Joker. The Dark Knight Rises was an epic conclusion to the trilogy which finished Christopher Nolan's take on the Caped Crusader in true style. Over the course of three films, we followed Bruce Wayne's incredible journey, while also being introduced to many of the greatest Batman supporting characters and villains. Throw in some of the best actors in the business, incredible action and special effects, as well as a rousing theme courtesy of composer Hans Zimmer, and there can be no doubting the fact that The Dark Knight Trilogy will go down as one of the greatest ever.
