Doom Patrol?!
So many Vertigo characters in the New 52. Not that I mind these characters being explored in this way. Flashpoint does kind of offer the fans an impenatrable wall of integrity. The Vertigo stuff will always be the true versions of these characters so I see no reason why we can't see the commercialisation of characters from Books of Magic and Doom Patrol or see Constantine and Shade as members of the Justice League. I'm all for it. I fully expect to see The Endless pop up at some point.

Uh....the Doom Patrol's been around before Vertigo. They're using Paul Kupperberg's version from the 70's and 80's. Karma and Scott Fisher (who was called Burnout in the 80's) were introduced as part of the mid-80's launch of the team, and they, along with Celsius, were killed during the 1989 Invasion story arc.

FlixMentallo@ Thought they were using the Vertigo team. Wouldn't surprise me if they did those next, though. I know, they've been around since before Vertigo, too. So was Sandman and Animal Man and Swamp Thing, etc. But once they were Vertigo, that was it, you know? Definitive.

Haven't read Morrison's run, just seems TOO weird for my tastes.

I'm curious to see what this Doom Patrol's Robotman will be like. If they aren't rendered dead in this book, I wouldn't mind seeing stories of this version of the DP.

Can we get Ray Palmer back as the Atom again?

@redkrypton Robotman has been introduced into the New 52 already.

Wow, that's DP's intro to the new 52? Getting immediately killed off? [frick] DC.
