Don't we already know Batman's origins? It's like Wolverine, they just keep telling us the same thing over and over

Calm the [frick] down.

These are supposed to be one-off stories that neatly package the retconned origins in the New 52 for newer readers. It's "Essential Reading" not meant for long-time readers.

Every so often, regardless of how many times the tale has been told, publishers like to tell the origin story again.
It's mainly for newer readers but I expect DC is telling origins of lesser known characters like Starfire so others will know them.

Adding Batman & Aquaman to the book is to in entice readers to pick the book up in the first place. They are more popular.
A comic full of origin tales of unknown people won't sell as good. Art looks good in this comic.

It's a re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-tell of Batman's origin.

Oh please no. Do not ruin Batman's origins by telling how there was some conspiracy involving his parents that planned the whole thing all the way to the Batsuit, that "Bruce never had the chance to avoid it."

Its a series called SECRET ORIGINS... of COURSE they will have Superman in issue 1, Batman in issue 2 and Wonder Woman in issue 3.

Im glad they will get those three out of the way early that way we can have the rest of the series to look forward to new origin stories.

I swear so many of you just LOOK for articles to bitch about.. "What can I bitch about today? Oh Batman is in a series called SECRET ORIGINS... sweet I love Batman...but whats his segment about? What his origin AGAIN??? "

WTF do you think is gonna be in this series?
