It's quite hard to believe that last months Harley Quinn #0 was DC's second beat selling book, only being out sold by the Dark Knight.
After a recent interview with Newsarama we now have a bit of insight into where the book is headed.

The interview with Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner confirms an appearance from Miss Pamela Ivy, aka Poison Ivy, in issue 2 as well as plans to set up a supporting cast around Quinn.

When asked if they had expected the huge popularity Palmiotti had this to say, " Never in a million years. We wanted to do something interesting and different with the Zero issue, but never really got why it was ordered like gangbusters. I’ve been working in comics now for over 20 years and I just can’t ever figure it out."
For more on the future of the book check out Newsarama's full interview.

Clearly Harley Quinn's new solo outing has struck a chord with fans, but, will it last? Sign off your opinion below; will you be buying any future issues of Harley Quinn?

The only reason it sold so well is because nerds thought there was going to be nudity. From what I have read it did not so I see future issues dropping in sells drastically.

Every time I see Harley, I'm reminded of my ex. Is that weird, DEV? I bet she'd like nothing more than to swing a mallet at the ol' trouser twins till they're paste.

Nah Ciph. It's probably just the clingy, psychopath your remembering, nothing strange there. I would watch the trouser twins though, you never now...

Wasn't a big fan of the #0 Issue but #1 was pretty good. Basically if you like Deadpool Humor matched up to Chad Hardin's art then you'll like this series. I think the reason it was a big seller (and not because of presumed nudity especially since it's a DC title) is that it was different from the other titles which is all capes and powers. Plus she's crazier than 2 squirrels in a Pringles can.
