Yesterday, the actor, director and producer of Don Jon announced via Twitter that he is apart of the upcoming DC flick Sandman however earlier this morning added that he is only a producer then continues to say "The rest remains to be seen." Many of us aren't fully familiar with the character and not too much is known about the upcoming film although having Joseph Gordon Levitt teaming up with David Goyer is interesting. What do you think?

He should direct too, although this DOES mean that Benedict Cumberbatch can still play Dream of the Endless. I love that pick.

He wouldn't be a bad choice, but he's not a perfect choice. If Cumberbatch is asked and refuses, then I'd be open to JGL or Hiddleston as Morpheus.
Also, he obviously cares about the project and he's got youthful fire that a project like this might benefit from, being new to the directing game, so he might not be a bad choice for directing. But I'm sure there are others that would be better suited to the task.
