While sitting down with CBR, Marvel's Editor and Chief, Axel Alonso discussed why he's excited to have Marvel work with the new Star Wars comics, "To have it return to its comic book home, where we can unleash Marvel's top creators to tell stories that are as relevant to the Lucasfilm mythology as anything you see on the big screen is a seismic event," He then adds, "And an amazing opportunity to reach new fans. We intend to take full advantage of it. "

A little while later, Alonso talked about how he feels about the many different comics Marvel will be releasing this year (Howard the Duck, Ant-Man, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Uncanny Avengers, etc.) "It's the biggest, craziest thing we've ever done, it gives us the creative space to play around with some genres and storytelling styles that we haven't done a lot with recently, and it ushers in a new era in publishing." It seems as thought Axel Alonso is excited about Marvel 2015 comic slate, are you? Sound off below with your thoughts!
