They have shown him light up and inhale recently. I don't know how many NBC exec or 'truth' heads exploded but I was pleasantly surprised.

I've really enjoyed the show and hope it gets another season. I know people have a problem with him not smoking, but for me the bigger problem is not getting his name right. In the Hellblazer comics John has said his last name is pronounced " tine as in fine". Yet in this show his last name is pronounced as teen instead. But if that's the biggest problem, then the show is doing well.

I friggin hate the guy playing the Angel. He's not that great of an actor and he'll always remind me of that terrible father on LOST.
