CBM Fight Club RULES!!!

-NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST. In choosing a winner base your vote on the most iconic interpretation of the character. The comment section is a great place for you to present why you think that character would win the fight.

-The fights are first meeting chance encounters - no prep time.

-The fights does not need to be deathmatches, incapacitating the other character can be considered a win.

-Lopsided matches may occur (which also happens regularly in the comics and movies) but before you write out the "weaker" character try to think of possible ways this character can beat the more "powerful" opponent. Again the comment section will be helpful in this.

-Eligible fighters are characters who have both been given life in comics AND movies.

THE POLLS WILL RUN FOR A WHOLE MONTH BEFORE THE RESULTS WILL BE DISPLAYED. [CLICK HERE TO VOTE & VIEW OTHER POLLS]

Steel takes Iron-Man. Batman and Dare-Devil I am more unsure of but Dare-Devil will usually win that round.

Now to the main event: Silver Surfer vs Superman.
SS is wicked powerful. He has more powers than Kal-El. And Silver Surfer takes almost everyone in the Marvel universe down, even Thor. But Thor has won over him a couple of times so it's not impossible.

Superman has gone up against enemies far greater than himself, and against those who possess also a power infinite. Superman has defeated gods.
I think Silver Surfer will be a lot to handle for him, but I don't think to count Superman out of the battle. Norrin Radd usually has a soft spot for characters of great honor and humanity so I think he would be more interested in why Superman fights than anything else. However Superman will probably lose against him, unless anyone can give any information to why Superman might take him? Kal's speed is fast but not fast enough here, the only thing that can work in Kal's favor is his strength but SS is too versatile.

Anyone got some thoughts?

Clean sweep for Marvel this time.

I don't know enough about Steel to make an educated guess, so I didn't vote on that one.

DD vs Batman -- DD wins. It'd be a good fight, but DD's hyper-senses simply give him too much of an edge. It's almsot not even fair for Bats.

Silver Surfer vs Superman -- Silver Surfer. Norrin Radd rarely engages in physical combat because his ability to manipulate energy for myriad effects nullifies the need. He'd drain the solar energy right out of Supes, then feed him some kind of zen anecdote and be about his merry way.

@Berger45 Thor has beaten SS pretty much every time they fight .

I love the picture of Daredevil vs Batman. I think Marvel got this even tho Daredevil and Batman would be a close one.

@Thunderforce - And why is that actually? The Silver Surfer is greater than Thor. Is it the writing, because powerwise Thor should like Superman not be able to fight SS. I know Thor is a god, and Superman is most certainly godlike.

Because Thor has more tools in his super hero toolbox than anyone else . He has great physical powers like superman , he has great cosmic powers like Silver Surfer and he has great magical powers like Dr Strange . Add to that countless thousands of years of combat experience and because Stan Lee says so .

iron man, no contest. bats over dd, i think nightwing could beat him too. not sure with ss vs supes. i'd have to disagree with loudlon though. although superman is strengthened by our yellow sun, i dont think solar energy actually resides within him. i think it would be a good fight but sooner or later ss would be seperated from his board. i dont follow silver surfer but wouldnt that render him powerless?

@gravedigger -- no, that's just a gimmick they came up with for the FF2 movie. Surfer's powers reside within him; the board is just his chosen means of transportation. Here you go:

Hey to the person who made these polls, you skipped Superbattle 3 altogether. You went from 2 to 4.

My winners are Ironman, Batman and Silver Surfer.

@loudlon, ya know i kinda thought that but wasnt sure. thanks. i hate it when they make crap up in the movies. the characters last for a reason. hollywood thinks they know best tho.

@ loudlon, do you agree with my superman comment? that was my understanding, the sun gives him power, but never thought that energy was a source that could be extracted.
